Bug in the game, Need assistence with Economy

So first of all, the blue bar at the top of the game that usually displays your military, corporation, debt, profit, etc. Is no longer there. It disappeared completely. Was this intended or a bug? An if it was intentional, was it really necessary? I found it very useful.

Secondly, I've been playing off and on for years, an my countries always go into extreme debt, and crash. WHat am i doing wrong? My country is "Kingdom of Arcadia". My Profit transfer is 66% and my tax 14%
Is there a standard I should be going by that should get me out of debt? I have 59 corporations. also my wages are around 200 and social security is generally kept around 80% to 90%

News Bar: On your country's home screen, click the Settings button at the top. Check that Hide News Bar isn't checked.

Economy: Firstly, which planet are you on?

Are all your corporations fully staffed? If not, either close the ones you can't staff, and/or adjust your education priorities to address worker shortages.

Are you spending a fortune on your military or over buying stock for your country?
Check Trade > Order Strategies and Quality and look out for any items which have more than 10 months supply in stock.

Have you contracted all the production of many of your corporations to your country?
This can absorb a huge amount of cash. Goes hand in hand with the previous point - don't buy more than you use. Also watch out, if your corps are fully upgraded you could be paying for a much higher quality than you need.
