Farewell, Fellow Simmers!

As I sit here, hair turning gray
Aching joints and just too tired to even chat these days
I've decided after long last
To let Simcountry be a thing of the past.

Thank you to everyone for all the years and joy
And as to my enemies.......well "oh boy!" lol
I have loved this game over the years.
I have had many many laughs and even shed some tears.

Seriously, poem aside, the community here is what has made this game so remarkable to me. This game is full of some of the brightest minds I have come across. I didn't really know at the time how CLOSE this game is to true, real-life politics. lol I think, long last, I get "IT".

You all made the game so enjoyable for me. I will miss you all. I just don't have the time anymore to chat, engage or play. Gosh, I have been around for a long time, as far as years that I actively played, about 4 years. I think I've been a chatter/forum spammer for a decade!!! I really don't know when I first came on the scene. Long live shoes!

I do have a request. If anyone ever runs across Nico again in this game, please tell him I lost his contact on FB. :-( My heart broke. I felt like I lost a child.

I hope that if I do make another appearance, that more players start talking to each other, hanging out in the chat. I really miss that about this game. We used to have sooooooooooooooo much fun here. One thought that crossed my mind, as I gear up for the Winter Olympics......I remember one Olympics, Laguna, others and I were watching the figure skating while hanging in chat together. ha ha ha ha ha We were disgusted b/c they all kept falling, or if someone was cute.
We'd debate whom we thought was best! Players like Wendy and Brian would play chess together. We'd play songs, tell jokes.........Seems now like tumble weeds in a deserted town. SCOWL!
