We are thinking about the possibility to start a PvP competition on a new, small world.

All players equal.
no resources can be used from existing worlds, only gold coins.

Cash prises after three months:

$ 200, $ 100, $ 50.

Then reset.

what do you think?

3 months, 2 months?,
one competition, multiple?

I remember long time ago all countries were used to be reset after 3 months and that was enough to do the job in wars even with less game months per day. I think this is a great idea! I am 100% in.

I would vote for "always war" mode when all players are always at war except the ones at the same federation.

Players would have some decent cash to start from, like 50-100T. armies should have very little maintenance to compare with what we have today and unit sizes could be increased as well.

Player with biggest assets at the end of the period would won.

I think that lot of ideas would be generated from such a world which would improve war game a lot. Each 3 months period you could tune the war mechanics until perfection.

Sorry in advance for the long post as I want to make two separate comments

First,
I'm in love with Idea and I know Aries would be as hes championed a "Battlegrounds" world before.
I easily envision a world with no war levels, 30M starting pop countries(No CEOS), 30T starting cash, and 14 days of WP then after that its a battle to the death!

My only concerns is long term econ-game. With all the destruction how will markets stabilize, more importantly how can a player build a strong economy? I mean if we could build a corp and its built and max upgraded it would be fair otherwise it seems like a possible issue, as these processes take weeks and I doubt anyone would live in peace that long!

Second,
Why wouldn't this idea be implemented on Fearless blue instead of a new world?

Hear me out, Wouldn't it be more effective to drop the War level dec cap from war level 3 to war level 2. This way someone can take a max of 4 nations then be forcibly thrown into the war game. I can see every 3,6,12 months on Fearless we rank players via war skill by conquests.

For example, Each war level is matched in total points. Lets say You and Me go to war both level 11. I conquer 3 of your nations.
I would get a score of 33 points(3 nations * the players war level), The higher the war level the more points then after 3,6,12 months we can see who is really fighting. Also to make it fair we would NOT include C3 wars only PVP battles.

I think the reset is the main factor in pvp tournament world. On regular world you can snowball throughout time and get to the point where you have enough cash and weapons to do whatever you want and at that level no one likes to lose that status so there is no much fighting among such players, when on PVP world you have no assets to lose as it would be reset anyway, all you do is building defense and planning attacks.

Regarding corporations/economy part - GMs can make corporations extremely productive and profitable also do not allow them to be destroyed, e.g. corporations could be destroyed only until 99% but not 100%. This way after attack if country is not taken over president can repair the corporations. e.g. all your corporations are damaged at 99%, but within 10 game months they are fully repaired(if not attacked again).

The speed of upgrading corporations would also be much faster, also you could build and close more of them per game month and etc. I think it is easy adjust the game settings and have no issues at economy side. Anyway two three rounds and GMs could tune the game for even better game experience.

We never had any resets in the past.
All 5 worlds are running without any reset ever.

It will be a new world because everybody must start at the same level and with equal resources.

No transfers from anywhere.
you can have 1000T on FB but none of it will be usable on this new little world.

only gold coins.
you can use what you have or get new ones.

The idea is war competition.

the ones with most wars won (PvP wars) are the winners.
If they beat you up, you can start a new country and beat them back.

what you do, alone or not, or your economy do not matter.

win PvP wars and win the competition.

assets don't count. Assets can be bought.

Everyone can fight everyone.

war levels remain but the only reason for that is to have more countries or get more resources.
War level or size of empire does not help in the war ranking.

winning wars does.

Don't worry about the economy.
There could be a shortage of weapons but that is then your problem. you can produce them yourself.

After three months we stop, pay the awards, and reset.

In the mean time, if there is interest, another world will be set up and players can register for a next competition but the world will not run.
It will start running on a previously announced date.

etc.

The 5 existing worlds will also continue to run. There are no plans to make any change in this setup.

I think the idea is great. A war world for just pvp and competition. I believe Aries would approve. This would (hopefully) satisfy the appettite of any warmongers out there. The reset is a good idea.

I think this will be a good concept, as it will give all players an equal chance to start out and when the times up; all is relieved so players if the chance comes around again(another compentition war world) can get there chance to win and thrive.

We have already discussed all details and a plan to execute will be ready tomorrow.

Setting up a new small world is not a problem and not time consuming.

making it separated from the others with no possible support from countries and enterprises in other worlds will require some work.

we will implement it as soon as possible.

I have one more idea to consider regarding this PVP world. I think it would be nice to also invite free players and put them all on the separate continent from the premium players. Free players would not compete for cash awards but for premium membership instead, they would only compete among themselves in their own continent, maybe their starting conditions should be also different.

If I win the main premium pvp competition I would like to donate the award to strongest of them and invite to play in the real worlds. No federation would refuse to accept winners of such pvp competition.
