Migration will now apply for more countries.
Migration will be triggered at migration index level of 50 and will increase if the migration index reached the level of 60 and 70.

The required index levels are now lower than before.

The numbers migrating will double after the next upgrade (1 or two weeks).
we will review results and then increase to higher levels.

Migration will be limited to a max of 100.000 (up from 50.000).

Andy,

Excellent news, I look forward to the seeing the results. In preparation for this. What factors go into the Migration Index?

The tooltip states "The migration index depends on the welfare, employment and salary levels in the country."

I'm assuming this means the index is based on the Welfare Index, Employment Index, Government Salary Index, and Industry Salary Index.

Is this correct? And are there other factors? Also, is it based on an averaging (like the Industry Salary Index formula), or is it based on the level of the lowest relevant value, (like the Education Index, and Welfare Index formula).

Large populations aren't always a bonus though; higher government costs can be tougher to manage. But it does mean more available workers thus more revenue if done right.

Khome,

True. Although the additional workers can easily produce enough to pay their way. It's adding lots of additional Nations to your Empire, that really drives up the General Cost of Government.

Population remains the most important asset.
Growth potential depends on the size of the population.
There are other parameters of course, but this is the main one.

I would love it if they made a law that stated
60 Hrs a week max hours a week. Anything over is prison.

My Country Atlas Shrugged has a migration index of 64. Welfare index of 131. Only 3 people migrated last month. Any idea why it is so slow? What factors influence this.
