Police units

I was thinking that since have police on the government expenses, it would make since to use them in a defensive situation to help fight off attacks on your country ( invading force). I know I read they were going to implement a riot police to help fight rebellions.

They would have a unit consisting of:

Jeeps
Armored vehicles
Light tanks

Maybe drones.

I guess not bad, i dont think rebellions are a problem for most. However it could be a cool feature. Give those weapons more of a use, i would be more on attack helicopters. Extreme seeming but you need something that is good and strong if in riot situation, like bearcat.

I think it's worth looking into, something to help mitigate the potential for riots/rebellions. Making police units, which may have an adverse effect on the welfare index since it could lead to a police state. But it would quell trouble makers.

No all the police would get is jeeps
no police Bradley fighting vehicles
and definitely not tanks

Ok I would say jeeps and helicopters, the could be set up like specail forces small units

They would be like SWAT teams that could be used to attack "units" in case your country would be invaded and also could fight rebels.
