Just a short one to air my opinion of the developments in this game. I've played simcountry on and off for over 10 years, in that time it seems to have gone steadily downhill. It seems now that no matter what you do, gameplay is so stringently regulated within narrow parameters on almost every feature. To sum my points without ranting too much:

Want to declare war? No, sorry, only if they're the same 'war level', which I can assure you almost no one will be. Adjacent countries are almost always sporadic newbies that even on FB are protected.

Want to perform an IPO? This is nigh on impossible now, ignoring P/E ratio requirement the corporation value threshold is insanely high.

Not to ramble too much - as I've never been an adept player - but it seems that the impact of decisions in game have become nominal if that. I appreciate it may upset a few people with unrestricted war again, but there's always any other world bar FB. What's the point in a simulation without some sort of agency? This is mummy-coddling to the extreme!

What I find concerning, is with a bran new country, completely unaltered, I am the 83rd best "Warlord," on LU.

that's because game doesn't count inactive weapons and also weapons stored in space of other players. with a single activation of inactive weapons many players would jump to first places from the very bottom.
