W3C - Server Crashed

We have a major problem with our largest server.
as a result both Kebir Blue and Little Upsilon are down.

We are working to resolve the problem and bring the two worlds up but it may take until tomorrow morning before it is all done.

We are very sorry for this problem.
It is the most serious problem in many years.

Well, there goes some of my bonuses and points. I really did hope to become number 5 in Little Upsilon on my first month.

Well, atleast last time I checked I was number 6 and that was yesterday.

By the way, what is the cause of the problem for the server that is handling Little Upsilon and Kebir Blue?

I think someone has fallen over all those network cables.
And now he no longer knows where they all belong.

At some point there are going to be some economic problems for some of our countries....

It's still down as can't access my countries on KB or LU (it's 5:30 EST).

And it looks like only one month has passed. Not much had changed actually, only some unfulfilled contracts and all.

WG seems to be crashed now, i cannot access my countries there at the moment.

Same here, seems down.

Major problem on the Simcountry site is now resolved

All is now repaired and running.

We had a crashed server.
It happened to be the largest server and most complex one.
It is now replaced by a new system.

We have reserve servers in waiting but also one of these servers that was intended as the replacement, had some issues.

This is the reason for the long time it took to repair.
we are very sorry about it.

It is the longest breakdown we had in all these years.

FB, WG and GR continued to run during this entire event.

The WG server which is one of the oldest, was running fine but we became suspicious and decided to replace it anyway.
(The hamster was end of life).

This happened in the early hours today and WG is up and running on a new server.

Each world requires a separate server. (or a virtual machine).
