Population for sale

Due to the recent population explosiion kicking off a chain reaction where the automatic systems build corporations, fill them with money then complain about about a lack of money, I'll be selling off population this week to break the chain.

Prices will be cheaper than the GM, of course. Check the Direct Trading page and fill your boots!

Fair warning: Don't sell population for gold coins on the direct trade market! You're countries' welfare indexes will suffer for years to come.. (game years). It was devastating.

Welfare is tanking on its own already though as the cash-drain is preventing me from keeping up with the required schools, hospitals, transport etc that the extra population is demanding. All this with every country in the empire running a surplus continusouly for tens of game years. I guess everything will level out as the population boost mechanism fades away but for now it's frustrating to have little free cash whilst trillions are locked up in state corps that aren't using it for anything.
