Game Score

The game core has been updated as we have announced before.

The base score is reduced. Dependency on the population numbers is increased. The welfare index is more important and having war protection switched off, too.

The page describing different factors in the score will be updated in the game update next week.

The score is slow to change to prevent last minute fast changes before the end of each month.

Birth rates

Birth rates are tuned down a bit to reduce run away population numbers. Birth rates are reduced more substantially in countries without a president and in free playing countries.

Cargo Shuttles

Cargo shuttles stopped aging at some point. The process is now fixed and cargo shuttles become older and disappear. The process is very slow. Do not expect many cargo shuttles to disappear any time soon.

Corporations

Corporations in C3 countries are now closed a bit faster if they fail to perform and produce at a very low level. This will allow other corporations in these countries to increase their production and make it possible for these countries to start new corporations producing materials that are in short supply.

Education and health Pages

The education and health pages have been improved and simplified. More pages will follow.

Population

The population in free playing countries is now at a level close to 20 million. C3 countries population is being reduced a bit more.

Countries owned by full members have a robust population growth that is gradually tunes down with the increase of the population and will stabilize around 100 M or less.

Thanks for the update.

About the Education page. The index graphs for Roads, TT and Hospitals move at .00 increments but Schools, HS and colleges move at whole numbers even though the graph is set up for .00. Could this be changed?

Now that the population has increased and c3's and players have more corps could the number of Ent corps allowed in a country be increased to 7 and 30 for within the empire.

Anthony King 1981,

Short answer, no.

Long answer, premium players 'can' still have populations upto ~500 million. However, the birth rate will gradually reduce them down to lower levels, unless they keep transferring in new population. Additionally, a country with a population that high, is likely to run into all kinds of problems with limits, such as per month spending limits, worker demotion/promotion caps, etc. Not to mention upside down demographics, with more retirees than workers, as the workers they transfer in age, and aren't replaced by enough new births.

So I wouldn't recommend people try to push their population up that high.

Which makes matters worse, there is a "soft cap" on number of state corps I can build in my own country. Add to it, my enterprises are limited to 20 corps each in my country. Getting others to move corps in is difficult due to the low number of active enterprises. Bottom line, the appropriate solution would be to remove the caps, especially since we are having populations blowing up.

Yea,it sounds that every limit should be scalable as fixed ones doesn't work

Do away with all caps and war levels.

I was going to suggest the number of corps in players countries be based on pop but there would be a problem if a premium member quit and the country reverts to a C3.
I think within your empire though the number of corps could be based on pop.

I know only one option - no limitations and see what happens.

As a free player I am noticing a nice difference in pop adjusting to 20mil max. Its allowing me to have a better understanding of how I can manage my corps with the current unemployed workers.
Thanks for that!!
