Proposal to GM for remainder of Aries empire on LU

As it does not appear that Aries is returning to the game and he still has an empire on LU and some countries there on LU are still doing quite well I would like to propose the following to the GMs. A player may bid on his countries or even perhaps have a war for the remainder of the Aries empire on LU (similar to what would happen in the real world where an empire is on the verge of collapse -like the Ottoman empire and numerous other examples). This would then take these countries off the GM's hands. It would be a shame for these countries to go to waste especially as some are doing quite well. I am reposting this under the LU forum as well.
Any thoughts on the above?

I strongly disagree. No game should sell the assets of players to other players. Period.

It doesn’t matter if those countries are doing well or not.

I agree with Letsie. Michael, unless there is 100% certainty that Aries will not return, I don't recommend touching it. I find it disrespectful to even ask..……..especially since Aries is an esteemed player and has contributed significantly to this game.

Letsie has a point. What if Aries came back? It would be a real mess. As long as he's paid up his subscription, the countries are his, whether he logs in or not.

As for the War idea. Since Aries is over war level 3. His countries are already exposed to war. If you can get through his defences, then you can take the countries.

Daniel is correct the countries remain Aries for as long as his subscription lasts or if you can actually take them as Johanas says.

Remind me guys as I'm getting old now and my memory isn't as good as it used to be, I've been here too may years now ha ha, was there a player that Aries struggled against way back when, who he actually couldn't beat?

Only making the suggestion guys. His empires on both Kebir Blue and Fearless Blue have already disappeared and are gone. Just did not want the same to happen to his empire on LU. No disrespect was intended. I actually have greatly admired Aries and feel he has made great suggestions and contributions to the game. I have often always vouched for him on the forum.
Sorry to disappoint you Johanas but I will not be trying to take his countries by force. I believe there was a player, WildStallion, that Aries struggled with but can't recall his/her name.

I tried to find Aries on my Facebook from a post he sent me in the past. I couldn't find it. I will continue to try to get an update on him to see if he is okay. I really miss him. He was always so much fun to talk to in Simcountry chat and throw shoes at... at least when he wasn't grinding them up in his shoe grinder machine! lol

I do not think we should touch it.

He was sick and we should just wait and hope he will be well enough to return.

I ---STRONGLY--- disagree with the GM selling any players assets.
In the past a player named Aaron "TattooPriest" died(Even Simcountry players left messages on his Obituary page)

A similar topic was discussed. It was finally agreed by the player base that its better to let a huge empire devolve and fade away with dignity. I feel the same belief should be used for Aries.

Worst case if the countries take "to long to fade" or linger many months past any membership or requirement needed for the account. I would support the GM deleting or removing Countries or CEO's in order to prevent future issues. The GM could delete the countries in question and in return refund some GC as compensation and transfer any "cash" assets in the deleted CEO/Nation into a players direct trading.
