The documentation states I can fight 3 wars at WL 1 before I move to WL 2. I have only fought one war though at WL 1 and when I go to declare on another country, my only option is WL 2. How do I fight another war at WL 1 before I move up?

That is outdated.
A change was made that each war increases your war level.
At war level 2 it is a lot harder to take a C3.

Hmmm well. Even after WL3 you keep going up with every war? So there is no C3 raiding anymore?

Yeah If you win a war against a C3 you move up in war level.
We'll update the documentation to reflect this asap

Zent, the C3s give more reward as you level up, so it’s worth it even at higher levels if you have a good strategy.

Yes it's me! I stopped back by because this game always seems to call to me to come back. I am sad about no C3 wars though. I hope the change was not because Zen and I broke the system.

C3 raiding is still viable.

So a raid remains profitable after WL 7 or 8 even?

Yep if you use the right plan. I am war level 11. The countries get more cash as you level up. I am going to push it to level 18 soon.

Zentrino,

You can still fight wars for SC$. The War Levels just mean that it's a higher-risk/higher-reward situation. High levels are much harder, but give bigger rewards.

Additionally, going up the war levels gives Gold Coins. As well as the cash from the country you take. So it's one of the few ways to get more Gold Coins without buying them for Real Life Money.

Just hit war level 12. Reward was 210 GC, 13.5 Trillion cash, and probably somewhere between 5-10 T in supplies that I can sell to market. Not bad.

Once you hit lvl 14, like myself, it's damn near impossible. And I'm referring to the carpal tunnel you get from the clicking.

Actually, last I tried I wasn't able to progress because there is no lvl 15. At least not then.

The option to fight at lvl 3 would be welcomed, even if it does not yield any rewards. It's an easier way to practice different war functions. And trying to wage a war across the globe isn't possible, since we cannot leap frog our way over. So basically, high lvl countries are now land locked. All well, my very own personal wall.

Glad your back Zentrino. Some of us still remain on KB. Others have gone away.

I set up on FB for now. I may venture out eventually to LU or KB. I am still adjusting to the game. I see weird fluctuation in my defense cost each month even when I am not buying anything. Trying to get a handle on that before I do too much. I would be losing money right now without the beginner booster. It just happened all of a sudden too.

Yeah, I'm not sure where some of the cost fluctuations come from.

The fluctuations are from ordering maintenance and ammo for trading. Orders don’t happen every month.

Costs change as the price of goods goes up and down. Military products are some of the most volatile markets in the game. So the cost of the Military will nearly always be changing, as the ammunition, military supplies, military services, and various maintenance products, change in price.

Victory! 19T and 280 GC. Profitable. I'm proud to say I now have the highest war level in all the worlds. Race to level 18!

John Galt,

Congratulations. Your nearest competitor on LU is SuperSoldierRCP, on war level 11. So you are four levels ahead.

I don't know how close you have to be in terms of war levels to fight another player, but I "think" it's within two levels (if anyone knows for sure, please post below).

If that's the case, then you are safe from PVP by virtue of having no one that is high enough level to even attack you. Defence by over-leveling, haha.

Also, you should write a guide, for the new players struggling with C3 wars :)

Thanks Daniel. I have war level protection turned off so anyone can attack me. You get a welfare index boost of a few points for turning it off. I am not worried about getting attacked as I have an insane arsenal, so the bonus welfare index is worth it for me.

John Galt, Anyone Interested,

I think you are talking about War Protection. As I understand it, the bonus to turning it off, is to country score, not Welfare Index. War Protection protects a single country, not the whole Empire, from attack by anyone. It has no effect on War Level restrictions.

Also, I looked up the documentation on war levels, to clarify my own question about War's Between Players...

"Countries in war levels 3, 4, and 5 can declare war on any country with a president, which is at the same war level. Starting with war level 6, it is also possible to declare war against countries with a president, that have a war level one or two levels higher than that of the attacking country."

"Declaring war against countries in higher level than your own is as described above possible if you are in war level 6 or higher but it has a price. Once you declare war against a higher level country, you become vulnerable and can be attacked by any country with the same war level as yours or up to two levels higher."

"Players in war level 7 and up can fight any players in war level 7 and up."

Assuming the Documentation is upto date. That means...

Empires with War Levels 0-2 are safe from PvP war.

Empires with War Levels 3-5 can attack, and be attacked, only by players on the same war level.

Empires with War Level 6, can attack players with war levels between 6-8, however attacking a player with War Levels 7-8, leaves them vulnerable to attack by other players on War Levels 7-8.

Empires with War Level 7+ can be attacked by Empires War Level 6+, and can attack Empires War Level 7+, they can only attack an Empire War Level 6, if that Empire first attacks someone on War Level 7-8.

Rules stated, only apply to non-war worlds. Wars on Fearless Blue have fewer restrictions.

I am not talking about war protection. I am talking about war level protection. War level protection is the setting that only allows people within certain war levels to attack each other. This is not in the documentation, but rather in the war page. Open up your country, goto War --> War Page, then look at the options and select "war level protection". Everything is explained on that page. I have confirmed the increased welfare index. Goes up by around 2-3 points. I will copy and paste here for everyone's reference.

War Levels
A high war level shows the capacity of the player to fight and win wars. The war level is based on proven record of the player, winning wars against opponents of increasing capabilities.

When declaring war, and fighting another president, war levels determine if such a war can take place. Simcountry tries to prevent wars between very experienced players and ones who just started playing and do not have much war experience yet.

Remove War Level Protection
Presidents can remove the protection offered by their War Level.

i Bonus: Welfare is increased for countries without War Level Protection.
When the War Level Protection has been removed, the President can wage war on any country that has also removed its War Level Protection. Of course it is also still possible to wage war on countries with a matching War Level and Protection still enabled.

i When removing War Level Protection, make sure you have a strong defense.
Your country can be attacked by Presidents with a much higher War Level.

Considering we are the only 2 on the warlord scoreboard I doubt that will be a problem.

John Galt,

Wow. Thanks for the Info. I didn't even know that feature existed. All this time playing Simcountry and I can still discover new things :)

Johanas Bilderberg,

War is never a problem... until it is. It only takes one bored player with a big arsenal, and world peace goes *boom*. lol
