W3C - Price ranges

We have recently increased the price range of some products.
This means that the price of these products can increase to higher levels when the market is short of supplies.

The products are all nuclear materials and strategic maintenance products.

the reason for this change is that there was a severe shortage of these products and no reaction from players. In addition, it is harder to build such corporations because they require a game level of 4 or 5.

As a result, the price of these products increased, the corporations are very profitable and shortages continue.

All enterprises can build all types of corporations.

Hello Andy,

is there any possible ways to decrease the cost of hospitals and welfare costs if possible please especially for high population players. thank you.

Also as requested by some players, could you please add police and crime index into the game levels as well and also add some levels with rankings names too like Generals for level 20 rank foe example please,

yours sincerely Michael.

Thanks Andy. I think I will start producing some strategic maintenance on LU and FB now. All my countries are short on them at moment.

We have reduced the cost of hospitals in recent months.

Cost of social security are low per person.
they probably go hungry. (we should start looking at what poor people are buying, is it enough and do they go hungry).

Reducing unemployment is a great way of reducing these costs.

There is a shortage of strategic Weapon Maintenance products and Offensive weapons maintenance will probably follow.

On WG the problem I see with SWM is that most of the corps drop to 0 production at least once a year due to a shortage of supplies.

I had corps that produced the assets, base and weapons maintenance and got rid of them because I got tired of babysitting them for supplies. The profit wasn't worth the time it took to keep them running. Air Transport and Oil produce good profits with no effort.

If you increased their supply demand to whole numbers or allowed fractional contracts to be set up I would invest in them again.

Oh wow John, I just looked at the supply requirements for these corporations. That is absolutely brutal. I would have to develop an entire infrastructure to produce strategic weapons maintenance and make sure I am contracting all the raw materials to myself due to the huge shortages of them. I am up to this challenge, but I need to get the supplies in place first before I build the actual maintenance corporations. This will take a bit longer than I expected.

I put in corporation build requests for all the supply requirements. Then I will build some of the strategic maintenance corporations. Once I get everything established and get a feel for how to manage this properly, I will likely be starting up a common market to ensure production of strategic maintenance. When I am ready to do that I will make a separate forum post and ask for people to join in this great endeavour :).

Production is almost up and running. I had to make a lot of corporations since the supplies are almost nonexistent. I will have very soon 2 of each strategic weapon and ammo Corp, 10 plutonium corps, and 1 solid fuel Corp to make up the supply chain. This will only sustain approximately 10 strategic maintenance corps. The first 10 corps should be in full production in 1 or 2 more days. More to follow from there.

If you look at the factory utilization page on LU, there are actually enough strategic maintenance corporations to meet the monthly demand if they were producing at 100%, but they are only producing at 60% right now due to the severe supply shortages. Players that want to participate in fixing this shortage only need to produce the supplies and everything will correct itself once the existing strategic maintenance corporations hit 100% production capacity.

These are the corporations in shortage that are needed for the supply chain:
Uranium (You only need 1 for every 80-90 plutonium corps)
Solid Missile Fuel (you only need 1 for every 20-40 missile corps)
Plutonium (You need 1 for every strategic ammo corporation)
Nuclear Battery
Nuclear Missile
Nuclear Sub
Nuclear Sub Missile
Strategic Bomber
Strategic Bomb
Tactical Battery
Tactical Missile
Chemical Battery
Chemical Missile

All of these corporations are quite profitable to build if you can ensure they are supplied. I would recommend contracting all the uranium, solid fuel, and plutonium to your CEO, and then selling them to your corporations. You can sell 120 months worth of supply to your corps, so you would only have to manually sell once every 20 real life days. You could also use contracts for these corporations. Contracts won't work however for strategic maintenance corporations as you can't contract fractions. You will need to do manual sales for those if you choose to build the actual maintenance corporations.

Hope this is helpful for anyone looking to get involved.

Just a heads up, Plutonium also requires weapons grade uranium. Every 2 plutonium corps requires 1 weapons grade uranium corp, and every 2 weapons grade uranium corp requires 1 uranium corp. It seems to be easy enough to get on world market, but if you want to produce your own you will require more uranium corporations than just 1. I will be making my own as I plan to do this at scale and I don't think the market can support what I will be buying.

I got 8 fully supplied strategic corps operational now on LU. More to come soon. FB also almost ready to start production.

The progress on LU is looking promising. Uranium production is matching demand now. Weapons Grade Uranium is also doing the same. The next step in the chain is Plutonium. There is still heavy shortages there. We must make more plutonium! I am building more. I am being slowed down by waiting for president approval to build corporations. Everything in the supply chain from Plutonium and upward can only be built in player countries. Are there any active players who can accept corporations quickly?

I think strategic maintenance on LU is under control now. Generating a surplus monthly on factory utilization. Product should hit surplus in 20 game months if nothing else changes with demand. Glory to the Pinktator!

Is it profitable?

My corps are not fully upgraded yet, but they are starting to become profitable. If you look at the established corps they are profitable. Everything in the supply chain from Plutonium and higher are very profitable, plus all of them use half the work force of regular corporations. It is a lot of work to get to strategic maintenance though. An easier option would be to make the strategic batteries/launchers as they do not require any nuclear materials.

How about demand, good enough?

Saturday, August 17, 2019 - 05:57 pm Click here to edit this post
High demand for strategic materials.
you can build everything yourself or just build many corporations and help balance the market.

I tried some myself to see the results.
Need to produce more plutonium to supply the weapon corporations.

On the utilization page, check the strategic corporations. You can see how many there are, their production capacity and what they produce. Production is far lower than capacity, meaning that they lack the materials they need.

also production plants are in short supply and corporation building is stagnated.

you need to have a stock of these to make sure you can build the corporations you need.

I am currently contracting all the raw materials to myself but allowing the strategic maintenance to sell on market. Eventually I plan to unleash all the raw material production on to open market to allow others access but I am not quite ready for that yet. At the very least LU and FB are sustainably producing some strategic maintenance now.

Andy something I have noticed. All of the strategic weapons and ammunition corporations are very profitable. Plutonium is also profitable. Uranium is mildly profitable. Weapons grade uranium is not profitable right now due to low price, but I expect it to become mildly profitable like uranium soon.

Strategic maintenance is a concern however. The raw materials costs are too high for the final product price. My corporations are not fully upgraded yet, but they are getting close and they are not close to generating profits. I think the price of strategic maintenance needs to be higher. I will still keep producing it at a loss as I am making crazy profits on manufacturing the raw materials. Again I am not fully upgraded yet, so this could be premature. I'll know for sure in a few more days when my strategic maintenance corps max out on upgrades.

Strategic maintenance has a very high potential for profitability.

The problem might be that these corporations lack raw materials and many times do not produce at full capacity, not fully upgraded while the raw materials come at a very high cost.

This will be resolved in time if we all increase the production of the materials they need.

I tested it too and had to place immediate orders for raw materials or otherwise, the str. maintenance corporations would not produce anything.
Immediate purchases come at a higher price.

I produce all the raw materials for myself now. Not profitable yet. Maybe soon when they reach max upgrade. I will report back when they do.
