Game Level Restrictions for Building Corps

I think that the restrictions on building corps based on your game level should be removed from countries. It seems arbitrary. There are certain corporations that I want to build, but I cannot at the moment because my game level is too low. It's annoying having to shuffle cash around to different countries to meet the cash requirement to move up in levels. Is there a reason for this restriction?

yea theres a reason its call lets throw more regulation on something to try and make it popular and it does the total opposite. i can build anything in my enterprise but my countrys nope

another thing that retarded is limiting how many of my enterprise corporations can be in one country , i like to send my corps to good running country's and where i know the president is active but your limited to six eye roll

John,
why is your game level low.
You are an experience player. get yourself to game level 6.

We think it is a privilege given to players in higher levels, to build some types of corporations that can also be very profitable.

Instead of making players go up the game levels, you want to pull them down.

Many corporations of an enterprise in your own country is a huge advantage.
many in one country is a high risk for that country.
this is where the limitations come from.

Hi Andy,

I think what John has in mind that to keep game levels you need to keep weapons and high salary levels which is not profitable so experienced players try to optimize the profit and cannot keep game level high.

E.g. I am now at lvl4 only because I want to build some corporations at level4, if I need to increase it I just move some military and increase salaries. So this is not about being experienced to achieve game levels.

The max I had achieved is 10 but there is no point in keeping it so high, it gives nothing apart from increased costs you pay for army and high salaries.

Maybe you can rethink how all that scales up.

Maybe it is better instead of war index and salary level measure Military Assets, Corporate Value and population? That would be more accurate.

It seems impossible for CEOs to gain game levels, is this intentional?

Andy, the problem is, if i purchase the C3 countries for my empire once i reach game level 4, i am scared that the players will conquer my empire with their army to take over what i spent on, is their a way we can prevent this rather than spending on security feature every month which is costly? Thank you.

Anthony, you need to build an army to protect your empire. This is the one and only free way

My game level is low because I use 100% of my cash to fund further growth. The cash requirements for higher game level given the size of my empire suck up a large amount of money that I can be using for more useful things. The highest game level I achieved was 12. I intend to get to game level 6 so I can make some space corporations to help address this huge asset maintenance shortage.

We consider a player to be a good player if she keeps her country at a high game level.

If you, in this case intentionally, reduce the quality of life of your citizens, we do not think that the privilege of building some types of corporations should be maintained.

We intend the game levels to be a very important measure of good playing and high game levels should be maintained at all times.

I guess this depends on what you want to achieve in the game. For me like John is it very important to have empire well balanced/optimized to get maximum profit and invest in army to fight wars or at least feel powerful.

Andy, John Galt, Lord Mndz,

My biggest problem with the game levels, are that the requirements they have to meet them don't actually lead to making a good nation.

1) Peaceful levels 5 and above require two nations and a CEO. If a player doesn't want to manage multiple countries, and a CEO, they are locked to level 4 maximum no matter how great their nation becomes. It's a hard lock preventing players making "better" rather than "more" countries.

2) The government index requirements, and financial index requirements are high. But there is no Consumption Quality index requirement at all. This means that the only way to reach high levels, is to purposefully over-inflate your indexes to unreasonable levels, and afford it by buying rock bottom quality government products. This causes shortages across markets, and a mis-match between the quality demanded, and the quality of goods produced.

The high game levels earn you many gold coins and are not needed when you build corporations.

The lower game levels, up to 6 are easy to reach and require some knowledge to achieve the index levels.

These players get an advantage and are able to build some types of corporations others cannot.

you can perfectly live with lower game level and be profitable.

There are different players, different objectives and multiple kinds of advantages, depending on your choice.

the natural materials added another way, independent of game levels.

and btw, not everyone does everything to be able to build an army.

As I play on FB i suppose that building army and supporting it is my main objective. Maybe i am not the best president for my people but at least they are more or less safe.

Andy,

Game level 4 is easy to reach. Game level 6 is locked behind a requirement to build an empire. Something I have no interest in doing. It would just require me to log in to multiple nations every day, and repeat the exact same processes that I already do with my current one. That would make the game tedious instead of interesting.

That is why even though I even though I meet all the index requirements for game level 9. I'm permanently Game level 4. No empire building = permanent lock on building all Corps in levels 5-6. Which in turn is why the Space industry suffers such extreme long term shortages. Only players that want to build empires are allowed to open them.

Currently there are only 9 players on LU that meet the level 5-6 requirements, and only 5 non GM players that are Game level 6. Not all of them are interested in building and managing space products. So only a handful of players, have to supply the entire shu
