Chat Client

Is it possible for the game to get a better chat client. One with the ability to create private rooms not just private conversations. No one uses the client because it sucks and that is bad for new players who often pop into an empty room.

yes if chat was better , and didn't remind us of a dial up internet connection most players would not choose to use off game chat rooms like discord , skype and whats app. maybe if you could model the game chat after one of those chat clients people more new players would be reached.

They could also embed discord as the chatroom.

LDI Discord has gambling, whores, and no censorship.

We'll keep looking into this but completely replacing the chat client would require a ton of man-hours and we don't have the capacity for it right now.

Collaboration platform would be very important for this game, the discord is very good option, but not all players know about it.
