Hi Andy/W3C,

One of my states is bleeding 2T every 3 game months.

It has ZERO active offensive weapons, except long range radar planes. Yet, it says 3 million soldiers are active, and that number will has not decreased.

Just for surety, there are zero weapons in either of the country's space center/station.

No weapons for over a game year, yet I have millions of soldiers that aren't declining.

I noticed you cut out the inactive weapons from the screen shots. Do you have any? They use 25% of the manpower, supplies, and ammo of active weapons.

Edit: It is definitely that. I see 84,000 inactive offensive AA. Think of inactive weapons as reserves not as in some warehouse. Reserves still train occasionally and get paid.

Hmmmm... Ugh, I'll have to store my weapons in space.

This was caused by a high level of cruise missile ships. It sucks that we can't store it in space. Thankfully, I was able to spread it out.

Dubletar,

I hate to promote exploits, but most war players just bypass the large maintenance cost of weapons, by storing them in their Enterprises. CEOs don't have to pay any upkeep, so they can store an almost limitless amount of weaponry, at zero cost. If you do that, you can store your weapons for free.

I didnt want to do that, but thats what I'm doing now.

The problem is, the weapons I have are ships. Ships, apparently, cannot be stored in space. The only remedy was to spread it around to my 29 state empire.

You know it Zentrino! If that ever changes without notice my CEO will likely collapse in one game month lol.

Hasn't this been the way since the dawn of space? There are a few things that cannot be stored in space, for some reason transporting boats on a shuttle is problematic
But nuclear ICBMs can easily be transported between worlds :P

Weapons in the reserves reduce the cost of maintenance but does not eliminate it.

the army must be huge.

what was the cost before you put it into the reserves?

as was said here before, you can store weapons in space stations or in an enterprise at no cost.
