The upgrade was installed yesterday.
some details did not make it and are being added right now.

Corporations

The size of some corporations in increased.
the changes will in time help to keep or even reduce the numbers of corporations world wide.

to keep/increase profitability and prevent overproduction, some corporations produce fractionally less product (changes in the range of max 5%). The standard cost of some products is slightly increased to compensate for the reduced production.

In general, many corporations will see an increase of profitability but the end result will depend on the market.

Salaries are slightly higher to compensate for the increase of product pricing.
The changes are small. not sure they will be noticed.

The Score

The way the score is computed is updated for the second time.
the previous change was last month.

Also now, the change is done in the middle of the month to prevent shifts in the last week of the month.

The changes in the score increased the weight of the size of population. (15 points per million), Also increased the importance of game level (500 points per game level) and also increased the weight of the welfare index on the total score. (the score includes 60 times welfare index - 90. A welfare index of 130 will add (130-90) x 60 points to the score. This is 2400 points.

The score is not changing very fast.
it can take a week for the changes to settle.
Increasing your game level in the last days of the month will have little effect on the score.

Workers Shortages

The automatic movement of workers between groups to help balance the workforce, is increased in size.
it used to be up to 100.000.
It was then by mistake reduced to 50.000.
we recently discovered the error and it is now permanently increased to 150.000.

Enterprise max values

Some limitations in reporting are now repaired.
two more need a larger change and are delayed to a next upgrade.

Consumption

A slight change in the consumption model (<1%), is intended to move a bit more spending by the population to products, rather than some forms of saving (investments and pensions).

This is a method used several times in the past to help stabilize the market.

Increased population in low population countries

Countries with very low population will see a small, slow increase in population. The end result could reach an increase of one million people in such countries.

Hi Andy, can you add additional rating without any penalties as now it is impossible to know who are the best presidents for real.
Most expierenced players are forever sitting in the bottom of the list and this kills competition between them. Every game should be built around competition but Simcountry does not have a list of best doing presidents/ceo only the list to give awards. In the past before score penalties this list was important element of the game.

The change regarding 150k employees was very much needed, maybe it is possible to increase the limit of high level workers? It is also 50k

Another way to deal with market surplus is to reduce salaries for corporations in c3 countries, current level is 297 and this is pretty high.

I agree.
we need a best players list.
will try to add ASAP.

Numbers of workers moving between groups is increased to 150.000 in this upgrade.

decreasing salaries will decrease the purchasing of products.

I also think the markets is largely stabilizing.

Several things I can't seem to be able to figure out;

Why does it seem that the cost of materials purchased by countries seem so much higher than usual?

Why are all of my countries experiencing automatic cash transfers to my state corps? Are they really not that profitable anymore? It leads me to believe that corporations aren't, and this seems to be the case with most types now.

The welfare indexes in said countries are relatively high, even at 90+ employment.

Most of my countries used to run surpluses, especially my main.

There is a severe worker imbalance too, where I keep having to exchange workers. HT engineers are always running low. I keep setting my education priorities, but they always revert back. yes, I switched off the automatic features.

Something is not right..

Khome,

There were large oversupplies in many products. In such a situation, profitability always suffers.

the market is recovering and profitability too.

Natural resources are aloud to increase in price to higher levels.
these corporations are now extremely profitable.

Social security is unchanged and up to you.

corporations slowly increase the number of workers. This can create some short term imbalances but workers move between workers groups in much larger numbers.

in time, it will decrease the total number of corporations in each world.

Automatic cash transfers have always been there. Nothing changed.

I still have the issue of education priorities changing on their own after switching off the automatic function.

The cash transfers are much more often and in higher amounts. Unless that is a result of the lack of profitability due to the oversupply.

The cost for materials in country spending is now higher than the income from public consumption. That is different for me. I didn't change the quality of the product orders either.

Can you give me the country name/world?

nothing changed in cash transfers for a long time.
there is an outstanding request by players to allow presidents to set min/max/amounts.
