W3C - Server Problem

We have a server problem on the Simcountry site.

A large server is down and with it two worlds:

White Giant is now down
Golden Rainbow is also down.

all other worlds and the portal are working as usual.

we are very sorry about this problem.
We will restore the server as soon as possible.

Golden Rainbow is up.

Our backup server is also fixed.

White Giant remains down.
we are working on it and will have it back up ASAP.

This is already the longest down time ever.
I am very sorry about it.
Nothing is lost. It will be back with everything in place.

White Giant is the one I play on. I work all weekend so was hoping to do some major overhauls tonight while I had time.

How will time be affected when White Giant goes back up? We've lost what 5 game months now? If 5 game months go by without giving anyone a chance to update (and for some people, who only log in once a day, this could be easily double that), there could be some significant consequences. Especially with changes like adding 10-15% workers to corporations without warning. I've already lost multiple natural resource corporations due to updates.

Free our country debt because of this maybe lol. I know mr Andy cant do that though

Starting to feel like I should just treat my White Giant account as a sunk cost, and start over on a more active world, since the server still isn't up and doesn't look like its going to be anytime soon.

just added a 9 month membership and started a new enterprise less than a day before it went down

Current update:

1. We had to adjust sim04 and it was down for a short time. It is now running fine.

2. White Giant is nearly done.
The server is up. we are running extensive system and database checks.
It will be up and running very soon.

Nothing is lost just very annoying,
for everyone, and including the engineer at the server farm building, sitting there alone at night.

It is now running correctly.

The security issue was (we think) the last problem.
it is resolved and WG is now running.

We saw so map problems that will most probably disappear after the next month processin.

we started the month processing now to reduce the backlog.

Seems to be working well so far. It's on Aug 31st, is it going to process the 6 months its behind? Or just current month?

Graphs don't load, they act as if the corporation is brand new.

Nevermind that problem fixed itself.
