please I want to confirm when Natural Resources gets depleted do Existing Corps Close down? Or is it that you can't build more mining corps?

Every resource, when mined for a long time, is depleted at some point and the corporation closes.
You can see the quantity of product that can be mined, on the corporation page.

These corporations run long enough and make very high profits.

It is currently very profitable to have such corporations.

we run a discovery procedure once in a while and all countries make new discoveries of natural resources.

ok thanks Andy cuz I have been playing for a month + now.. majority of my corps are mining corps most of my Countries Resources are already depleted so fast.. and am scared all my corps will end up shutting down.. My countries is African Union on LU.. thanks again for the info

Most of these corporations run much longer.
As I said before, you can see how much material is left in the ground and compare with the month production.
This will give you the number of game months to go.

there will be another discovery round later in January.
