@Andi
The game needs a significant reduction in maintenance cost , this is hindering empires from reaching greater hieghts than 50-60T cash
Or even an increase of profitability of corps
Before we could have reach 100-500T in cash but idk what happened

I was having the same issues for a while during the last re-balances, it hit my older countries hard, though the newer countries did not feel harm. I have found the cash positions are starting to recover.

Certain strategies from before I am finding need change, country items purchase quality is a big one, common market trades seem to now provide far more harm than good as well.

A dangerous trap I fell into was buying ammunition at low quality and then buying ammunition quality upgrades. Ammo + upgrades is far more expensive than buying it right to begin with it seemed.

Most of what you mention was not change in a very long time.

You are also not specific in describing a problem.

Give a clear problem and tell me where it is (world name and country name).

I will have a look.

maintenance cost is reduced a lot in the past months.
we just announced that we will reduce more in the next upgrade
but
If you increase the size of the army maintenance cost will increase.

If you have many countries, government cost will increase.
It always did and in fact, we have reduced this too and it is now cheaper to have a larger empire.

how large?
