While I've been on and off on Simcountry for close to 14 years, the level of automatic functions have steadily crept up I've found, does anyone else think this? I.e. it's no longer possible to ruin your country through negligence/poor gameplay. The war levels, the automatic building of corps (I'm aware this can be disabled, but apparently it still does it if the situation in the given country is extreme enough), the factory building levels caps. Is there no way the game master can create areas free from this and why were the features introduced?

Maybe for New player {RETENCION} I'm a vet of Simcountry I turned off all my automatic functions but many new players might need this to help while the learn the game mechanics.

Good point Lioncoeur, the features are here to stay.

The Wicked Lady - I've never been a significant player, had many countries and a few small empires (12 or so countries) in north west Glarus Modo in Eridana. Where are you? If you played before as Mobius then I'm afraid I might have been the barbarian at the gates but have mellowed since then!

Lord Mndz - Thank you, very good choice of profile photo. Can I ask where your countries are as well? Lots of players have come and gone, I remember a small-fish empire and home country of London Pride but that seems to be gone

The automation functions are easy to turn off.
The functions are activated when countries are close to full destruction.
if your education index is down to 5, it might take 6 real months to get it fixed if at all.
we try to prevent disasters because these players just give up.
we give them a chance to come back.

but in nearly all cases, automation is not kicking in.
if you come across an intervention like this, let us know.

The required game levels for some types of corporations intend to give serious players an advantage in creating higher level corporations.

If you show some success with your economy, and climb the game levels, you get a higher score, awards and the possibility to build higher level corporations.

some of these requirements restrict some types of corporations to full members only.
