May be a loaded question and circumstancial but I am just curious to know what people tend to leave automated when running their countries and what they like to micromanage manually?

I leave reactivate weapons in case of war, buying supplies your country needs and buying and selling shares on. I leave off buying ammunition and supplies for my army off unless I have a set quality specified. Everything else I recommend off.

With more on, it becomes hard to tell what you do hurts or helps, or if it is the automation messing things up. Usually, it just messes your stuff up.

Very interesting, I haven't really been playing for very long and haven't spent much with the automation screens yet. Thanks for the advice
