Population Computation System is Updated

We have now updated the population computation system.

when population is very high, the number of births each game month will stop declining and will become largely stable.

Only the natural death numbers as they are computed in all age groups will remain in place and will cause slight reductions.

An increase in the total number of the population will not contribute to the decline.

The population will not naturally grow beyond a level of 100 to 120 millions.
It will remain stable.

In case you grow your population by transfers from other countries, or you purchase population on the market. the new numbers will be sustained.

The way it is done is by preventing the numbers in the 0-4 age group from declining.
Other groups may keep declining for some time, but in the long run, stability in the lower age groups will slowly spread into other age groups

Hi Andy,

I know it's just been a handful of days but the upgrade for KB was completed almost a week before this and I was taking a look at the Country 'Andy' on KB as well as Gokuland on GR (countries with very high populations). I have not observed in either country a noticeable stabilization of the birth rate in the 0-4 age group. Am I missing something or do you expect the effect on the 0-4 group to take more time before becoming noticeable?

First of all I want to say that this is one of the best things you guys did for a very long time - thanks so much! It was on top of everyone's minds.

This change will result in countries having bigger populations and people will try to increase population by moving from other countries as well. Any chance that you could increase limit of how much people could be transferred per game month from 1M to 5M at least or make it based on some percentage.

Please update country spending limit accordingly, because current limits can be too low for 200m+ pop countries.

I said before that the stabilization will take a long time.

By now, I see stabilization in age groups up to 15 years old.

More groups start to slow down the decline.

the graphs show declines in the younger groups too, but when you check the real numbers, you see that the decline in 3 days is around 15.000 while in the past it was 70.000. (In a country with 500+ Millions.

the change is meaningful.
It will make population numbers more stable and make very high population countries maintainable.
