Following improvements in the way the population numbers are processed, these numbers are much more stable than before, even at very high levels.
It took some time for the age groups to stabilize but the process is long completed.
It has made it possible to increase the numbers of population much higher.

It made it possible to develop very profitable countries with more corporations and more diversity.

However, the population numbers are limited to 600.000.000 which is a huge number.
Increasing the numbers beyond that limit might be possible but we advise you not to do so.

If population numbers go over the limit of 600 millions, the country will see declines in population groups and a return to levels under 600 millions.

Has the soft cap for population changed at all?

No change in the "soft cap"
it did increase a bit with the improved management of the population and the diminished declines.

Countries with a populations of more than 600 million are now slowly moving towards the 600 millions limit.

the decline in the population will stop when the population goes under 600 millions.

The population model in these countries can be problematic
due to population transfers, both in and out.
There is no guarantee that the numbers in the age groups are as they should be.

Changes in the population will probably continue at a slow pace, either up (with new interventions when passing the 600 millions limit) or down.

I'm finally making a comeback to this game, very exited. Some questions, at what population number does your average age begin to increase artificially after these changes?
Thanks!

Welcome back.

Average age is not altered by procedures.
People age and if birth rates are down, average age might increase a bit.

Birth rates are declining with the growth of the population and the 0-4 group will in time stabilize.

This happens for full members countries at 100+ millions. It depends on health care and can reach 115+ millions.

Population transfers and population purchasing can increase population up to 600 millions.

So if I am reading this correctly, now that the 0-4 growth eventually stabilizes itself above 100-115m we can reach and hold higher level pops that have been brought into the country more easily than before. That is great to hear.

Getting population transfers, either from other countries or by purchasing population was always possible.
Some options were improved to make it easier.

Yea I'm aware of that. Every person from before w/ a large pop had massive amounts of deaths compared to low births. What I am trying to say is that it is good to see that the higher pops will hold better. Thanks!

The population is now more stable than it was some years ago.

The only natural declines are caused by death in all age groups. The numbers are not large and can be reduced even more by a good quality health system.

wars and population transfers can cause disruptions.
