W3C - Moving Countries

The idea comes from one of our players.

The idea behind it is to allow enterprises to restructure themselves into a single region.

There are other arguments and other implications that are interesting enough to make us decide to add this feature.

The feature will work as follows:

1. you will have to purchase a country in the place where you want to move one of your existing countries.
2. Once purchased, you can request the move, giving the names of the moving country, and the name of the just recently purchased country.
The time between the purchase and the move must be very short.
3. The move itself will cost 50 gold coins. You must have 50 gold coins in your account or the move cannot take place.
4. Once the conditions are met, the move will be instant.
Everything in the country will remain unchanged. all corporations, assets population will be part of the new country.

we have looked into it and indeed, it is less complex then expected but
there is some work to implement.

Will natural resource corps move if the resource exists in the new location, or will they all close and have to be rebuilt on the new resources?

I think it would move if the country have the resource the corp was producing
If not it will automatically close

I have a doubt: the population that is transferred from country to country, will it be transferred in carts, commercial planes or in ships?

I think it's a good idea, but paying 80 GC in total for the purchase of the new country and the subsequent transfer is a bit expensive. Is there a possibility that the transfer price will be lower?

I was missing the days of cheap land.

We have now figured out what to do about existing corporations producing natural resources.
The corporations exist already and the reserves in the ground are known within the corporations.
there is no record anywhere showing that the corporation is build based on a natural resource in the ground.

so the corporations will just move to the other country, keeping whatever resource they had and will keep producing as they did before.

The unused resources that are available for new corporations, will remain in the country of origin.

The country of destination also has (you hope and made sure before you chose it) natural resources in the ground.
