Bid Game Money for Coins

Is this trading currently limited to p2p only? Will gamemaster offer gold coins that we can buy with game money?

Nope. As far as I can tell they got rid of that feature (I don't know when).

I feel like if they brought it back, the exchange rate would have to be astronomical, especially to new players. For example, my enterprises combined make around 6 trillion/day. Some people here have hit the max cash stack (around 4 quadrillion unless it's been increased). If I didn't want it to be game breaking, I'd probably set the exchange rate to be around 10 or 20 trillion per GC. Otherwise at the currently listed, but defunct rate of 23.5 billion per GC, I could generate around 255 GC per day, which would probably break the game.

The GM would have to MAJORLY retune the entire economic system (frankly it quite overdue).

Right now the GM offers "23.3 billion" per GC meaning a new player can pay $36 USD for "8.5 trillion".

8.5 trillion is NOTHING in a game a big as simcountry. Right now, you would pay $100USD for around 25 trillion when lets be real can get you a basic army if you looking to move up the war levels.

If the GM did bring back bidding for GC's there would have to be a massive overhaul of planetary economies and the direct trading system, which I don't see them doing due to the massive about of work it would take when they can focus on other more urgent issues.
