Hello - Can someone please take a look into the supply situation in KB? The world economy seems pretty messed up right now. Thank you.

I’m also on KB, and to me, it looks like there were several kinds of economic adjustment. They may have been small, but they hit some kind of inflection point and have caused major consequences.

First, several of my nations no longer had enough workers to run the corps in the country.
- Looks like the worker requirements for Electric Power companies were adjusted.

Second, all the nations in my empire were making major losses when a day or two earlier they were solidly profitable.
- Even after cleaning up my corps and restocking things they are still showing losses.

Third, all the corps in my empire, and I do mean all, were short of electric power and many were short of other materials.
- Perhaps there was a reduction in how much Electric Power companies produce?

Fourth, all of the nations in my empire were short of several goods.
- Since everything is short of power, nothing is getting produced, so everything is going into massive shortages.

We on WG are also facing similar issues with a sudden jump in shortage of products and services especially electric power.

Currently on WG there are about 700 countries with presidents and about 5600 C3 countries, as much power corps we build we will never be able to reach the world demand unless Andi increases the production capacity

The situation is in fact a shortage induced recession.

Many corporations are not producing because of shortages and this results in more shortages.

you can use the order tab on the corporations page and replace many orders by immediate ones in a single action.

the corporations will immediately return to production.

Electric power was the trigger in many cases and it seems to return into more production.

Services and electric power are used in many corporations.
we are looking into these and make sure we are not crashing.

To make your electric power corporation produce, purchase the materials it needs in immediate orders.
as I said, it can be done with a single command and replanish all corporations at once.

this will also help to elevate production levels in general and help resolve the shortages.

This would just increase the already unbearable cost of products and services on worlds and dry up the little cash reserves we have

And also its 3 months now and still you have not rectify the issue I addressed and i have sent numerous emails to both email addresses

Due to the ongoing shortages, I see that many countries (both player and non-player) that were profitable and had large surpluses now have deficits and are all losing money fast. Many C3 countries are in dire straights and would technically be bankrupt.

Actually - My apologies, Andy.

I think I understand what was happening in regards to the KB shortages/supplies. The economy is still in recession mode...I like the twist that there can be global recessions. Very realistic - as long as this new change is not permanent, and we will eventually see a return to normal business operating activites.

Have a great day everyone.

We had recessions many times before.

this one is quite serious.

in the mean time, there is some improvement and the situation is certainly not getting worse.

We expect it to ease a bit in the coming days.

replacing corporations orders into immediate ones in the order tab on the corporations page will increase the cost but will return many corporations into full production.

This increased cost is more than compensated by the much increased production.
