We will make it possible.

I do not see any reason to destroy them.
they keep producing power and it can be sold on the market where there are large shortages of electric power.

but you are right. it should be possible.

and their is a legit reason why

WT consumption, only counts against you FI. which is a requirement to go up in game levels. so if you build WFs for the cash, you lose FI, and make yourself ineligible for higher Game levels. and w/o the abilities to shut them down, your kinda stuck

Andy is there a correlation between Government cost and windfarms?

The cost of maintaining wind farms is part of the government cost.
Where else should it go?

If someone is in panic over too many wind farms, you can send the gamemaster@simcountry.com
a mail message.

we need to know the name of the world/country
how many wind farms you have
how many you want to destroy.

don't come with less than 10.
the cost is not that high

I will see what we can do.

But again, these wind farms earn a lot of money for the country but it remains your choice.

We might help severe cases because the missing "destroy" function may take several weeks to enter the game.

Thank you, that is a reasonable resolution.

In addition, i don't know. But shouldn't wind farms also be destroyed as collateral damage in attacks? I'd make sense, wouldn't it? You destroy a pop center, nearby wind farms would go as well.

I mean, if I was to reduce a country to rubble, why would the WFs still work?

These are large installations.
we could at some point turn them into targets, like military bases or cities and town and corporations.

As long as they are not painted on the maps, we do not know their locations and I wouldn't know how to decide which one is close to what and which one should be destroyed.

I was thinking more like how when you click on a pop center, it tells you the schools and such, WFs could be assigned that way, and potentially destroyed with an attack, or sneak attack. But I'm just throwing it out there. I'm happy as is. And thanks for your time

Showing more details when you click on a population center is a good idea anyway.

but we think that at some point wind farms should be on the map.

I'm tempted to have all mine destroyed because of the huge negative impact to my financial index. My main country spends over 20B a month in wind turbines which counts negatively against my finances.

The electric power being produced is not adding any value back to the country finances, so this has a net negative (on paper) of 20B per month.
