Andy,

Might I be so bold to make a suggestion. The last few updates have been rough and difficult to stay the least. We know the GM can add worlds as needed maybe the GM should consider a "Player testing planet"?

Rules for the planet:
- Anyone can sign up for free (no monthly GC costs or membership needed)
- No awards
- No GC or boosters can be used
- Space centers are disallowed
- No game wide asset trading

The planet is separated completely from the normal game. Such a world would allow players to build and experiment on a new world and prior to any game wide changes, the GM active them there for 1-2 weeks so we can test and help to fix any issues prior to wide scale launch.

This would allow the GM to gather economic and military data without having some of the issues we are seeing today.

I for one would LOVE the change to build and test a new empire if it meant helping the game long term and I believe such a world would go a long way into help make a more stable game!

Just a thought
