W3C - Awards for October 2023

All awards for October were paid today.

Both Sol awards and gold coin awards.

The Sol nearly trippled its value in the past weeks and awards in Sols, returned to lower numbers.

We have also consolidated the awards, meaning that if a player won Sol awards in more than one world, the awards were added up and paid in a single transaction.

I had 28 countries this morning 6 th of November
Now this afternoon it shows as only 5 countries
Main country is Edo till it disappeared

I haven't monitored Ikanoba's countries closely, but I can confirm he had 28 countries until today. He's lost well over a billion population, and it could even be 2 billion.

This is on Fearless Blue where the *current* game date is July 5158. To see his empire prior, check a year earlier, July 5157.

He had one of the 2 largest empires on the planet and it's almost entirely gone.

Disaster.
We will try to find out ASAP.

I would like to commend Ikanoba for his civility during this crisis. I remember days long ago when players disrespected the owners of this wonderful game and I’d like to believe those days will remain history.

While this glitch is highly disappointing for Ikanoba, shlt happens and they seem to realize nothing is perfect.

Also thank you Andy for keeping us informed and correcting the mishaps as soon as possible.

The problem was resolved on Nov. 8.
all countries were back.

I would like a confirmation that this is indeed the case.

If there is any damage caused I would like to know and resolve any remaining problems.

We had such incidents several times in the past years.
mayby 3 times in total and another one when my own countries disappeared.

This of course awful.

luckily, we keep cancelled countries for several days
and we could bring them back.

I am very sorry it happened.

the cases we had before, an account was split in two, with a copy account but no countries disappeared.
Here too, there were two accounbts but both damaged.

We will take some measures and add integrity checks.
we will also prolong the period when cancelled countries remain untouched before they are cleaned up.

It was a disaster but Ikanoba was just serious, asked for a solution and we did not have a bad language discussion.
