W3C - Whithe Giant Operational issues

we had quite some issues with the WG world recently.
The problems were resolved but it seems that there is an additional problem

We are working urgently to resolve it and hope that it will resume correct operation quickly.

The server did not stop but had a problem with the date, delays in processing and short periods when it did not process requests.

we are now restarting the server and hope it will be fully operations with several minutes.

Message when trying to access country or enterprise on White Giant:

wwwCountry: Cannot obtain address from the directory server

I think I broke the server trying to sign Common Market contracts :P

None of you broke the server.

We have an issue with some of the trading, mainly the trading of products that are sitting unsold in the trading database for a long time.

We are on it today and I hope it will be gone by tonight.

In the past days we were able to prevent these issues except for one minor incident that probably went unnoticed.

I am sorry about it.

There will be an upgrade tomorrow or on Wednesday.

We think that the WG problem is resolved.

we upgraded WG this morning and the logs are clean.

The problem is on all servers but did not manifest itself yet.
we will upgrade all servers tomorrow early, 1 am EST.
(provided everything remains clean).

The entire problem resulted from new control functions that prevent floding of the markets with absurd quantities of products.

The handling of old offers that remain unsold in the queues for a very
long period created that issue.

These old offers trading, that are in Simcountry for years,
are not documented properly at all.
we will add info to the trading document in the next upgrade.

We did not see any problems in the past week.
we think the problem is now resolved.
