Weapons Purchases

I've been trying to acquire weapons to conquer my second C3 but my orders are unfulfilled for 3 real days. It's getting annoying and boring! Find myself logging in with nothing to do.

The orders are set for best price, I've considered setting fixed price orders with a monthly increase but which price do I set it at initially?

Using AAM from FB as example. The game says this "market price without quality effect = 437,900$"

Should I set the fixed price at 437,900 x 3.3 to take into account the quality effects to reach 330 valuations?

When weapons are deeply back ordered, it can take days to receive them. Some of the weapons are back ordered over a week on some planets.

The best way is to just place your orders using the best price strategy, and just wait it out. Immediate orders will fill faster, but quickly become eye wateringly expensive.

Yeah, a good thing to remember, weapons typically deliver slowly. Although at low war levels C3s do not have Helicopters so you only really need a ground unit to conquer and special forces to paint.

FB seems really quiet though, I don't see where all the demand is coming from. Pretty much every weapon and ammo has big shortages, even the stuff that's not really useful. Sigh!

Another advantage of discord, the link is in the chat tab. There are players there who would be glad to not only likely help by selling you some weapons for your C3 prep to reduce your market wait, but are also a great resource to bounce some of your war plans off of if there is anything you’re unsure of or need outside opinions to help minimize your losses.

FB is in the negative as a few large Empires are always gearing up. My logic is, why have free cash sitting in your account when you could buy equipment or ammo with it?

I would also second joining the Discord. It can be a wonderful resource and many players are looking to help.

FB is like a volcano; it's going to blow but can never tell when.

FB is embroiled in a massive cold war. Multiple players are scrambling to build powerbases. Power = ammo/weapons.

I eventually received my weapons orders, took 5 days to fully deliver. Almost bankrupted my noob account acquiring them the games a lot harder to build up quickly than it used to be.

build up country first with good companies. Besides the construction will kill you. Let the c3s have the unreliable ones. You should be be building companies, schools and hospitals. Dont just dive into the war game

By that metric, FB isn't the only powder keg. GR has some pretty deep shortages as well, and they're getting worse.

Well good, GR could use some excitement.

Almost everybody is on FB is having to bring from other worlds, so that maybe all there is to the GR market issue.

We see many countries that can add corporations.
One reason for the shortages is that there are many potential workers in many countries that do not participate.

adding corporations, will help reduce shortages.
Building defense industries and contracting the products to yourself will help too.

There are also many C3 countries that have more than 100 natural resources available. It is easy to find such countries on the natural resources pages.
You can also look for specific materials and find countries that have them.

conquering such a C3 country and using the resources will be very profitable and will reduce shortages.

We will also reduce the cost of purchasing such countries.

TA is more challenging but it has many natural resources in each country.
Natural resources corporations on TA produce more at a lower cost.
This trend will continue and such countries will become even more profitable.

Hey Andy. You've mention the reduction in cost to purchase c3's. Can you give us an idea on how much of a reduction? I'm trying to plan ahead and wondering if its best just to buy c3's when this takes place. Currently c3's cost around 260 GC's. Should I be expecting a 50% cut? 90%? 10%?

I'd like to build a 9 country empire on 1 of the peaceful worlds and not have to worry about being over wl3. Currently that would cost me $205. Any info would be appreciated

Are there any worlds without these weapons shortages? The FB market is so slow. I'm waiting real weeks for weapons again Tomorrow evening will be 2 weeks.

Andy, I also see many countries able to add corps, every c3 neighbour of me has room for several corps, most of their employment indexes are in the 60's and there's not that many active players on FB to effect the market, if every c3' was to build these corps would make a much bigger impact and sort their employment index's at the same time.

@Ian, have considered allying with other players who might sell you weapons?

I did ally with a strong player in my region but he kicked me out after 1 day

I-m sorry to go on off on a tangent, but it's at times like this I wish the International Newspaper was a bit more dynamic. Siloing it off per game month is extremely limiting in its spread. Nobody really logs in and decides to "Let me go over the trouble of checking past newspaper only to see nothing happened." I think a scrollable page would be better.

On another front, it should include more events. From memory, it includes:
- War declarations
- War victories
- Nuclear Strikes
- Earthquakes
- New Security Council members

Keeping AI in mind for this, I'd like it to see the scope of the newspaper expanded to include Security Council proposals, resolutions, on-going wars, market fluctuations, and corporations closed and started. This is the best use case for AI in this game.

And it should be easier for players in other worlds to see what is happening elsewhere. Mostly because the
