We are very sorry for the crash that occurred on Simcountry in the last hours.
All our servers where running during the entire period and all processing continued.
The problem was outside our system.
The name servers, leading traffic to the site failed completely and no traffic reached the site.
All our checks that are running to verify that the servers are up, reported that all servers are up.
This is a failure of our testing to verify that all interactive processes function. It resulted in a late discovery of the problem.
It took far to long to discover that this ongoing, contact the external sites that direct the traffic and wait for them to find out what happened.
