25 years of Simcountry coming up

The GMs can probably pinpoint the exact date when SC was launched, but I'm pretty sure Simcountry's 25th anniversary is around the corner.

It's a very nice round number, and I'd hate for the date to go by without any sort of acknowledgement.

I'll put something together on my end, but I'd like for everyone to pitch-in some ideas.

The earliest wayback machine entry is 29 May 2001. I think somewhere in there I say an archive page that the dates the worlds came online. Seeing if I can find that again.

In an imaginary world, we could get a tiny little planet running for say a period of 3 month, one time thing or a periodic reset, without asset transfers from outside of any kind, where the celebration could take place. Oh wait, someone imagined this before. Back to the drawing board.

Old timer here returned back (after decades).

I suggest a new galaxy, a new galaxy where everything is fast, uunrestrained, easy, open to all but never permanent. Reset every week maybe?

Its where veteran player can release some steam, pro can test new strategy, intermediate can see what solution available to a certain problem, newbies can touch/exposed to the water, freeloader *couch*me*cough* can evaluate what premium membership offers, devs can test new stuff or whats not etc etc. There opportunity and promises in that new short-lived galaxy.

On game marketing, it will repromote the game to broader, new and younger audiences. Something like "a reboot". Mobile games usually marketing it as 'new/beta/preview/to be launch/etc server' while its actually ran for over 2 years already. Why not simcountry copy that matketing strategy? Its really new server afterall - every w
