We have decided to develop an automation function that was on our mind for a long time and was not created for lack of development capacity.
we now have some more space in that area and are able to develop this function.
The function will allow players to enter rules that will guide the Simcountry engine to execute commands for them, once or once in a game month or once in a real day or a real week.
These commands will help the player do some tasks that require a lot of clicking.
Examples:
1. Buy 100.000 units of services for my country "name" on Little Upsilon and raise the quantity of the product in the country to 1.000.000 units.
do this every game month.
This will create a purchase order. not more than one, and will execute if the country can pay for the order. It will keep doing so until the country has 1.000.000 units of services. It will only execute if the country did not exceed its

Is this something you are developing to run automatically until terminated once started?
Or, is this just for TA?
1. Isn't this already addressed with a country trade strategies? Or am I missing the intention?
2. Good idea, esp. for countries with things like wind farms.
3. Unless there is a way to do this multiple times, or say once a month automatically, I fail to see how it's any different than what we do now.
4. Good idea for those on TA. Would be nice if it applied to all worlds.

This would be a time saver, I look forward to testing it.

A player will be able to create a set of such commands that will run all the time to save time and clicking on all worlds.
Some could be entered to run once but then will remain on the list and can be restarted or updated to run every day.
Other rules will periodically until suspended or removed.
It will be very helpful on TA but also on the other worlds.
It will reduce the clicking in moving products between worlds and help in keeping strategic stocks at a desired level in countries and enterprises.
There is no need for this to supply corporations or countries with the products they consume. The current mechanism is sufficient.

I love it! I was eventually going to start writing Tamper Monkey scripts to do this exact thing!
