I would like to discuss raising the limits on relief supplies Andy.

For example....

April 15 5583, a Major Earth Quake occurred in your country.
898711 people died immediately and 1801732 people were wounded.

You have 1500 Emergency Building Units in stock. The maximum is 1500. 3175 Emergency Building Units needed once.

You have 1210 Field Schools in stock. The maximum is 500. 4691 Field Schools needed once.

I mean it's perfectly reasonable to expect a first world country to be prepared to take care of itself...

Think out of the box dude..... You'll be praying for a disaster if you really understood them.....

Many numbers and the populations in Simcountry increased in the past years. we did not update the relief supply numbers.

Andy, you can always ship disaster relief supplies from one country to another within your empire to make up for shortages in a particularly hard hit country.

All that requires is cargo planes and airports (military or those built by air transport corps) and sending them to hard hit countries.

If you adjust things so that never becomes necessary, then there is no reason to even have cargo airplanes or that mechanic in the game.

Having enough disaster supplies speeds recovery from all disasters and is a feature that has always been here and one I've paid attention to religiously since I first started the game so I happen to like it.

Otherwise from the polling I've done on discord the people that do deal with disaster supplies are mostly limited. Those that don't have them take longer to recover but they are still pretty much ignored.

I don't want disasters removed, just update the amounts of supplies you can stock.

yes, one country is an issue do you have allies? Others can send you stuff too. I generally just pay attention to my empire but as long as someone wasn't an adversary and they asked, I'd send disaster relief if asked (if I was on that world and had them)

The problem I have with certain changes are they never seem to be what we ask for which, tends to open up a new can of worms.
