Why are the vaule of my coraprations falling so fast

for the last six months (game time) the total value of my corporations have being falling by more than 10 billion per month. I'm relatively new to the country, not the game, however something i did do in an attempt to make them more profitable is give them automatic upgrades, could this be the dilemma to my situation.

Dont worry too much about corp value. Starting upgrades will take more money out of the corps so yes, could lead to value dropping.

Eventually the upgrades should improve the corp profit and their values will rise higher than they would have before.

Only worry about your corp value if you are the target of an economic war. Then worry more than you would have 6 months ago.
