My new country is doing well (on the right track and gaining economic strength every day). I have 13 corporations (majority are profitable; most, if not all, will be profitable in near future as they are moving in that direction).

How long do corporations need to maintain profitability before they start paying taxes to the country? At present time, there is only ONE of my corps paying it's tax (one of the corps has been profitable for 15 game months and still no tax to the country?).

What index or factor triggers the tax to my country? Is there a formula or something else beyond pure profitability that triggers this corporate payment?

Thanks for the help!

Yes, I too have seen this, with profit transfer too. It seems to take a corp a year to 1 1/2 years constant profitability before it starts paying these as it should.

I am unsure as to why this happens and you raise a very good question.

Maybe Andy (the gamemaster) will be along soon to answer this. If not, you should email him for clarification as I will be doing too.
