say my C3 neighbor becomes hostile, if I was to spend gold coins to be as efficient as reasonably possible in eliminating up to a say w lvl 5 threat, what would you recommend I buy

A C3 will never become hostile. However countries with a president at or above war level 3 can.

right but let's say that my c3 neighbor started a practice that I felt threatened my countries security and i hypothetically had no other choice but to attack said country. say that ones gold would be limited; what military units would you recommend that would for example, make an example out of a war lvl 5 threat?

Remember that C3 is a Computer Controlled Country. It cannot and will not ever become hostile. However if your neighbor is a player he/she can be a threat. The best way to handle such a threat depends on their defensive setup and the weapons you like to use and/or can afford.

Generally for a C3 a ground attack is cheaper but takes more time than air. Without knowing the makeup of the defense of a enemy player there is no way to figure what would work the best against him/her.

I suggest finding a good federation to join, as they may be able to help you more.

I understand the current restrictions of c3s, is it allowed to purchase say steath bombers from the space; or is that also not allowed on WG? if not are any mobile units playable, or nuclear capabilities? either way I'm in the process of cargo construction. thanks for the help let me know if you need anything

computer controlled countries do not attack other countries, so why would these countries be hostile to you?

Except for Serpent, the only player ever to have lost a country to a C3.

Yeah man, Im still upset over that. To make matters worse, the C3 just used a styrofoam remote controlled drone and a jeep with a flat tire to conquer me.

To answer the original post, buy tanks. Lots of tanks. You should have more tanks than the Soviet Union used against Nazi Germany. Then again, not so good with the math.
