I have been battling with the automation system for a while to try to get more senior doctors. The priorities set seem to reduce the senior doctors continuously and that means its the one and only thing preventing me building more hospitals.

All my corporations are well staffed so there is little need to reprioritise any of this.

I don't fancy turning off automation because I know all other areas will suffer if I do but I am wondering WHY it keeps changing my priorities for senior doctors from 20 down to 6 in a day!

The automation is trying to fight shortages where they are the highest.

It is also probably adding more people to some of your professional groups and making sure there are no shortages.

If you think that the automation does not do what it should, I am interested to see what happens.

for that, I need country name and world name.

Yeah, You should probably just turn off the automation. It doesn't work.

Well I typed out a message last week but the board was down.

You can check out my country if you like, its seems to be producing hospitals without any of my own input at the moment so just gonna ignore it.

I am following a country where automation is on and it is doing better every day.

recent tuning of the support functions will increase the pace of improvements.

I am looking at a country, close to bankruptcy, with employment at 25% and it is improving.

education now at 9! will take some time to increase but it is all moving in the right direction.

Hi, I know its been a little while but the next problem I have with automation is the fact my country keeps buying 6 hospitals ... It costs a fortune and when I look at the number of hospitals, there has been no increase.

For example, same time yesterday I had over 200 Hospitals, now I have 198 yet almost every month without fail my country buys hospitals.

I have turned off this feature as it costs 10 bil a month!

It does sorta work. I had some of my countries on it for a while as I wanted to save time. But, shortages of health professionals happened every now and then.

Thanks. I think its mostly due to the unstaffed hospitals keeping closing. I have started adjusting to compensate this.

Health and education workforce are the one's that you really need to watch. They can drop very quickly. I generally try to keep large numbers of them unemployed.

It seems that turning off automation has saved my country. Finally making some cash. Had to sell off some rather expensive army equipment first but it paid off to keep the economy afloat.

The hospital decline has stopped and there is no staffing shortages as well as over 96% employment rate. I think I might just be getting the hang of this.

Ok so apparently you have a shortage of nurses.

Turn of educational automation and increase nurses to 12.

Look at the unemployed column. If there are very few increase towards 12. If there seem to be alot (125,000) put it between 4 and 7. Generally speaking it takes about 3 - 5 game months before the effects start appearing so come back the following day and see if you have more professionals.

You have very high employment too. I would suggest maybe removing 3 corporations to free up some workers for your government services. My population is 4 million more than yours and I have the same number of corporations.

If I was to choose 3 it would be the 2 school producing corporations and the hospital producing one. I tried hospitals for a while and it was a big loss maker so until your finances level out, keep away from them.
