I have the message below on a main country page for a couple of game months now, although I don't see any shortages in the trade menu. It is really annoying because it keeps automatically deactivating weapons and lowers my government workers salary. Can anyone see what I don't - what do I have to correct so the message will be gone? The country is The commonwealth of Belon on Fearless blue.

"The country has sever shortages of all kinds of materials. Such shortages cause many people to leave the country.
Move money into the country or take loans and let the country place orders to resolve the shortages."

Mea Culpa.

I cant find the Newspaper message you are refering to in the last 2 game years. Has this problem solved itself? The only Message I can find that doesn't explain the type of shortage is: 'Country Orders
The country is not purchasing all products that are needed for the population.
Thu Sep 1, 3531 The citizens of The Commonwealth of Belon are complaining of shortages. The government is ordering more products than it can afford. The president should improve the financial situation of The Commonwealth of Belon or change the strategy for ordering products.'

And this message contradicts itself. Not buying all products but you shall lower the amount the country buys? -.-
But as it seems from your Supplyindex there seems to be no shortages that affects you right now, is this correct?

Periodically I get that message for my main country for 1 game month and it disappears the next game month. I never see any shortages or issues when it appears. Not sure what triggers it or if it is simply some game glitch.

Yes, it has solved itself now. Also, I got like 2 notices that salaries of government workers were lowered (and they were actually lowered) in the past months, but they are not noted in the newspaper now. Strange...

Here we go again :-( I received a message in December (not given in the newspaper):

The Commonwealth of Belon has high debt and is making losses. The salaries of all government workers have been reduced.

The salaries were lowered and military was deactivated. I can't see any shortages and I don't have debt.
