Non-responsive Interceptor Wings?( c3 stealth )

So I've asked this question a few times privately and I usually get the same answer.

How do I defend against c3 stealth bomber counter-attacks?

Well, obviously I build interceptor units. Which I did. I built a few interceptor units and upgraded them to 400q. I started out with 10 units is that not enough? Yes I have radar planes too if anyone tells me to make sure to have them.

It seems when I attack a c3wl4+ with ground units and it counter attacks my oaamb/mrmb unit, I get absolutely obliterated while my interceptors DONT respond EVER?? Idk what I'm doing wrong and it's irritating.

Now I'm not new to this. I've reached wl7 on lu and wl6 on kb. I usually just use a whole bunch of oaab units because my ints don't do anything for some reason, and I lose so much money on ammo. It's so annoying how I have to spend trillions in aa missiles. I want to go to wl8+ but I can't if it'

I found out there was an issue with this too, but when i was fighting in another region. For some insane reason, even though my Ints were within the 4k radius (FYI they were 1.6k away from the target), they wouldn't attack any stealths.

The solution i found was to put the Interceptors in the same region / continent and then they would begin very slowly, taking down the stealths.

I still end up losing a few OAAMB every so often, only 2 or 3, but it's to be expected, i guess?

I'd say you give that a shot and see what happens. Start a war, Remote Depot in, land some wings there, and then initiate ONE attack. See what happens. The solution i provided has helped me, hope it helps you too.

I had the same issue. Lost multiple divisions to stealth attacks and had no response from my ints.

Unless they changed the engine the only thing that can "attack" you from a C3 is defensive missiles when you launch an attack on a defended target. Defensive missiles can only target ground units and missile launchers. Which is why you use a combination of attack wings for their int/heli wings and attack drone/ and or bombers to kill target defenses. Then and only then do you use ground or missile units to kill the target.

But it has been a while since I played around with the war engine.

At level 5, stealth bomber wings begin defending against your attack. Interceptor wings are supposed to handle them but they do not seem to be.

So kill all the wings before you start attacking?

Docs say ints have a hit rate of 0.5% against stealth, not very effective. Deffo try going the way suggested by J Bilderberg and destroy the SB first.

Crafty, i always hit SBs with ints. I have about 6 units @ 330q. Always take down 6 - 7 per attack.

@Jb I always attack sbw first with aa, since my ints don't respond. @ToeCutter It had nothing to do with hit rate, it's the fact they wouldn't defend in the first place.. but it's fine now.. @Roving EYE thanks, I haven't had to apply butthurt cream on myself for a while now and I'm able to feel its icy hot sensation throughout my entire lower body.
