I was wondering how much faster your shuttle wears out if you choose not to use SC maintenance units, and if you do I was wondering if you need to have them in one of your space stations or in one of your countries.

I have to call you out because the answer to this is in the docs. Space info can be found at game features -> space trading.

"A mission between a space center and a space station or between space stations will be counted as a single mission. Flying between space centers counts for 2 missions."

"If a maintenance unit is not available, the shuttle will age 5 times faster."

So, in short, each time a shuttle launches or lands at a space center, one mission is expended. Most missions you run will likely be between space centers. Count 2 missions for a normal run or 10 with no maintenance available.

I also have another question, If you move your military weapons and ammunition to your space center if military spending will be substantially reduced?

You don't have to move ammo. Only weapons require maintenance and upkeep costs. If you move weapons to your enterprise, your country military costs go down.

Question how do my space shuttles receive my SC maint units to refresh. I have SC maint units in my Space Center.

They automatically take some when they arrive/depart at the space center. Just keep some sc maintenance in it. They'll automatically take some more if needed.
