I used to play before and came back after a couple of years. Do I see it right, that each war against C3 country means level up? And there are 25 levels, which means I can only fight 25 wars against C3 countries?

no you need X number of wins to move up. I don't know how many for each.

When does that start? Because first three levels went straight up

I remember seeing war level 3 needed 6 C3 countries conquered, but that could be wrong. I've never been war level 3.

:-) So I would need someone who knows. Because I am from lvl 0 to lvl 4 in 4 wars without any other option

You are both righ and you are both wrong at the same time. How is that for an answer? :P

You are right. 1 war vs a c3 is 1 war lvl up. So yes that means you can only wage 25 wars vs a c3

You are right. Or at least were right. Not to long ago (couple of months) they changed how the war system worked. People made plenty of posts about how you could wage wars against multiple c3s before lvling up. This changed and now it is 1 war 1 lvl.

Seems kind of a bad change, means you pretty much have to buy countries or attack other presidents to expand once past a certain point (highest war level I've seen is 20).

If you come to FB you can attack inactive presidents as many times as you want. After 60 days every country becomes attackable on FB.

Freeya, that is exactly the point. They want you to go out and fight other people.

But let me share a little secret. If you want an empire of around 25ish countries it is very doable to get enough GC's from rewards and just buy those countries. Yes it will take some work but is is very doable to earn 600GC's over time from rewards.

Oh, and getting to war lvl 20 is something only VERY powerful players can get to (think top 5 players in the game)

Yes, I've bought my 2 extra countries so far on WG, and I'm currently game level 7 so while I haven't hit 600 GC yet, I agree with you.

And yeah, I've only seen the one level 20, and that's on FB. WG has no one remotely close to that.
