Can someone explain why the game would close a seemingly healthy corporation?
Despite my employment index being in the 90s, and demand for chemicals at a high, the game closed my corporation Minden Chemicals in The Empire of Merkawa on White Giant, and replaced it with jeeps.
It was auto upgrading, production & hiring were set to 100%, local market contracts were signed and there were no issues as far as i could tell.

Thanks

I would turn off the building of new corporations in the automation tab, honestly. It could've been that the industry wasn't making a profit (you can view this in the cash and debt tab on the corporation window) so the AI decided to replace it. If it was profitable and got replaced anyway I wouldn't be able to tell you.

Ideally you'll manage the Corps and their construction/replacement yourself, though. It's fairly straight forward

The Automation system to setup new corporation often times doesnt even pick companies with the best potential for long term shortages of their end product. I agree with Matthew to manage corporations yourself. Less automation and more managing yourself. it's quite easy as Mathew claims.
