I am confused. I had 5 of these corps when I took over the country. They were all making over 1B profit per month. I don't understand why the computer would shut one of them down. They were the main profit center of my industry.

I am worried the computer may shut down the remaining four.

I never understood why the computer did this either. What I did to stop it was to start an enterprise and use my enterprise to start corporations in my country or to buy corporations in my country that were 4 or more of the same type. Like what happened with your Military Services corp, I think the computer targets corporations for closure if there's 4 or more of them. However, it seems like the computer stops doing this once your country gets bigger, so it's not a problem you have to deal with forever. Also the computer cannot automatically close enterprise controlled corporations. Only the player can.

The system does this only when the conditions are as described in the message.

If the corporation is profitable, it will not happen unless there is a huge debt and we have recently increased the max levels of debt.

Make sure the corporation is profitable and for good measures, make sure your corporations have cash on hand.

it is very easy to raise cash levels in corporations and they become more stable and secure.

In the current market situation, it should be quite easy to keep all your corporations profitable.
Higher cash levels remove the need to check profitability of corporations too often but it should be done from time to time.

Andy the corporation was making over a billion profit per month and had zero in loans. I don't remember exactly what it returned to me in cash but I believe it was more than 50B.

This doesn't mesh with the explanation.

I have the same problem. over 4 corporations closed. all were having profits, about 50B in cash and full employment. I have read the documentation of the game, maybe i can find some info about this and it says there there are 2 possible notifications when a corporation is about to close but i have never seen one. maybe game master should stop automatic close of corporations for active players. countries without presidents, whatever. Game master, please look into this problem

Chances are you had a shortage of professionals. Look at the graphs for unemployed on the Education page. If any one of them goes to 0 a newly built corp will close.
Adjust and or improve your education as needed, and
DO NOT build a corp unless it can be fully staffed.

When my corps closed I had all the professionals I needed. The message I received was the corp wasn't making enough money no lack of workers.

The country I copied this from dropped to 0 MLMs in the previous month. The mssg does not accurately describe what happened.

We can always look into the reason why corporations close.
there is always a reason and it is written in the country newspaper.

if you have such a complaint, please write about it but also copy the newspaper message and show us what reason is given.

corporations can have very large loans, can produce at low levels for a long time but then, after warnings that show on the corporation page, if nothing is done, they might close.

warnings are also showing on the corporations page on the beginning of the line on the the corporations page.

there are no arbitrary closings.
Please read your newspaper from time to time.
