It looks like the Beginners Income Booster has the effect of tripling the income of a country, while costs remain the same.

With that in mind, it is disturbing to see that costs = boost.
In other words: I'm only bringing in half enough income to cover costs.

Defense budget is a huge part of that, but so is education and medical.
It would be nice if the population at least paid their fair share of the education and medical that they use. It is actually reasonable, at about $450 per person for medical, while they are paying less than $100 for the $450 they get in return.

Education is a similar 5x cost to payment ratio.

Normally, the way to offset that would be to raise taxed or fees on those who are using the services, but I don't see a way to tax the population.

The taxes they do pay, combined with their contributions, only pays for half of those services, leaving nothing left for the rest of the benefits they pay, such as Social Security (which they should be paying into also) roads, rail, and water treatment.

Once the newbie period is over: everything looks set to come crashing down.
