How do I improve this figure for my corporations

It can be manipulated by turning off sales for awhile. When you reenable selling, the sudden clearing of the backlog inflates the profit and improves p/e momentarily. Beyond that you don’t really control it.

Increasing your welfare index, both in the country and the corporations, will increase the profits as production numbers will rise.

with more Earning, the P/E will decline which is what you want.

This is the best way if you want to IPO and only if there are shortages on the market (product price high). Other method is to set tax to 75%, profit transfer to 100%, wait a couple of days, set them to 0 and at some point you will be able to IPO.
In enterprises is harder because you can only use the profit transfer
