Attacking C3 That is War Lvl 2

Hi, I'm fairly new. After defeating my first C3 that was level 1, I decided to replenish my air units and attacked another C3 at level 2 with OAAMB and precision bombers from another unit. This is totally different as I was not inflicting damage and losing them. What are some recommendations to approach C3 at level 2?

War level one didn't have a helicopter unit, and war level 2 does.

You need to change out the precision bombers for Mid range missile batteries.

I appreciate it! Let me see if the mid range missile batteries do some damage.

The won't. the helicopters attack them first and they protect the OAA that destroy the helicopters.

I've been trying a combination of different weapons and been losing them. So what you're saying is to use a combination of mid range missile batteries and OAA to fight off the helicopters?

Yes combine them and attack the defenses.

If manpower and cost is a factor you can do the same thing with OAAMB's and Heavy Artillery.

I'm still at the penny pinching stage.

Ah, that is good to know. I haven't touched Heavy Artillery yet. I'm focusing on my air units. But yes, I'm penny pinching too.

Question: if I'm attacking a defensive interceptor unit with the above attack units, I'm losing my OAAMBs and mid range missile batteries. The log will tell me that the interceptor unit is being assisted by long range division and helicopter unit. I attack the helicopter unit then lose my units while the other logs says that the helicopter unit was assisted by the interceptor unit. How am I supposed to approach lvl 2?

And maybe I should attack with hundreds of each OAAMBs and mid range missiles expecting to lose them all, but I want to get some input or thoughts.

You need to attack a target that is not near the LRD
