lmao.

Offensively minded new players don't last long on Little Upsilon.

An asshat is a new player who attempts to attack or irritate older players.

I made no attempt to attack or irritate anyone! I was only stating my intentions for a fed policy which will be to play offenssive. I take it none of you would like to join then? Anyone who does please get in touch.

Playing offense, by definition, requires attacking other players.

This is highly frowned upon. Especially when done by a no-name fed that talks smack.

If you want an example, look no further than Wendy and King Hezekiah on the Little Upsilon forums. Both are asshats, both troll, and both do not have anything with which to back up their smack.

LMFAO

Good one Keith!!!

No - we don't want to join, and we will make damned sure your policy of offensive tactics don't work thats for sure.

21 days is such a long time!!!

Yes keith I know what offence means, thanks for reminding me. "Talk Smack" Talk english please? Smack is something junkies like to use were im from. I couldnt care less who wendy and King Hezekiah are so i dont think ile bother. Thats fair enough you dont want to join stuart but theres no need to be like that. Why would "We" make sure playing offenssive doesnt work, im sure"we" have played offensive many times.

Ok lets not get off on the wrong foot. This is how Wendy started.

Ok please explain your Feds policy.

We are all listening.

Perhaps we have misconstrued your statement.

Each person who has so far left a message on this thread is a well respected and powerful member of the game. Apart from you Octavian.

Your policy of playing the offensive game as pointed out before basically says that you will be going out to attempt to invade other players. You have basically threatend us. That is why this thread has got so much attention.

I really do think you should do your research a bit more into Wendy and King Hezekiah - just so that you can see what has happenend when other people have tried and failed to use these tactics.

I agree that most of us have had offensive moments in the past, but it is always for a reason. We don't just start a fed and have that as our main policy, simply because the members of it wouldn't last 5 minutes.

Wendy and King have both been dealt with in the past to make sure that they don't become a major threat, and action continues against them whenever it looks like they are becoming one. Simply because of their foreign policy of either world domination or terrorist actions.

As I mentionend before, the last thing LU needs right now is another asshat - but as Sam said, please go ahead and explain your fed policy to us - perhaps we have misunderstood what you were trying to say...

Let him pursue his policies in silence. He will be dealt with when the time comes.

Until then, welcome, good luck and enjoy your stay. I do hope you will surpass your predecessors, so I can be the one bidding you farewell.

Octavian, you belong on Fearless Blue. Why would you pick a peaceful planet to bring an offensive fed too? Your 'offensive' policy will be welcomed on Fearless Blue, that is the planet for members that desire the action of war. I strongly suggest you relocate there a.s.a.p. However, I respect that you are enthusiastic and trying to start a federation. I wish you best of luck in your endeavors but you need to either change your policy for Little Upsilon or consider trying Fearless Blue. Feel free to message me at the country Seven Nation Army in game if you would like some additional advice on any topic. Sincerely, Tattooed Priest

I think I did state the fed policy in my first post.

1. We will defend any country in any part of the world.

2.The fed members will be encouraged to expand and grow an empire.(Naturally this would be deemed as playing offensive)

Im sure I could think of more but those are the main two at the moment.

Stuart there are thousands of players on this world and you took my comments as a threat to you,s "You have basically threatend us"

High pop countries not in a fed are the ones who should feel threatend not you lot with your massive empires and a fed to match.

Ok will take a look for wendy and king.

I like the fast turnover Tattooed Priest and its not an entierly peaceful world. Thank you for your sensible and non-judgemental reply and good luck to you sir.

n00bs=furbies,asshats, and tools

newbs=future vets

n00bs must be beaten into a pulp.

newbs must be helped and encouraged.

n00bs interupt

newbs listen

n00bs plan world domination and fail

newbs contribute to a fun game for everyone

n00bs are not worth the time of day

newbs are priceless

I have beaten many n00bs into the dirt.

I have helped many newbs.

I am proud of the last part and not ashamed of the first part.

If you wish to play a fun game welcome to SC. If anyone here can help you they will. If you think you have something important to say please do. If you have something humorous to add its welcome. Otherwise shut up and listen you might learn something.

Whatever your opinion is does not matter. If asked give it. If not keep it too yourself. This game is based on respect. If you have respect you get respect. If you act like an ass you will be beaten like one.

Octavian, at least your a n00b with a sense of humour!!!

Check out 'The Church of Sim Country' for the in game 10 commandments. Perhaps then you will see why your policy of being militarily offensively gets on our nerves. Sadly though, I can't find you a link to it at the moment as i'm at work, but i'm sure someone will be along soon who will have.

Rinoa - veteran players do not dictate to newer players as a whole - only when they appear to be asshats in the making. We currently have our fair share of them on LU at the moment, and we don't want anymore!!! As Sam said - if you want the respect of the community, you have to earn it. That means putting time into the game learning it, and forging friendships with other players. There is a lot more to this game than just the warfare side of it, but sadly - thats what most new players base their time here as.

For instance - I don't know how many times I have looked down the 'at war' list and found a new player - less than 6 game months old - trying to invade a C3 with a handfull of tanks and a pocket full of ammo. It is very rare to find someone who will actually ask for advice from the start of their tenure here - but when they do there are ussually loads of posts giving advice, and that player is welcomed to SC with open arms.

Veterans do not dictate to the newer players - not once was I told what I could and couldn't do, but then again - I never wanted world domination.

A message to all new players; Forget war. Build your economy, ask for help, read the documentation, look at the 10 commandments of SC and enjoy your stay. Either that or become a asshat by starting a fed bent on world domination and get destroyed by the rest of the world. Your choice.

Honestly guys, just let him try this federation out. If it does something bad, they will be dealt with. If they don't, then let's welcome it to the community.

Anyway, it's amazing how these small players get to us. Must just be a sign of boredom when a newb post generates a community response.

His mouthyness can be seen as a retort to the threats he has received so i think we should ignore them; maybe if we let him start with a clean slate we can avoid Wendy 2.0?

I was just pointing out as certain situations progress on a negative side of things... Game life does become dictated. The situation is King is a good example of that with all of the demands.. That was also starting with Wendy but she seemed to get out of the dictating... I think its obvious that trouble makers get the wrong end of the stick..especially when its early.

I'm not new to this game, but I have stop playing it for over 1 year now. There is alot of changes in game.

Just browsing around looking for a decent fed and cama across this. I definately WILL NOT join this fed. Not that I don't like war and will stay peaceful, but definately will not go offensively, be it from the start or after 6 real months of playing.

Well, my one cent worth.... *off going reading other post.

Octavian Ceasar. I like your style. While there is no reason to get offensive right off the bat, I see no reason you can't enjoy playing a game YOU paid to play.

If you are interested in joining a fed that is fighting offensively, there are two in operation Right now that are open to fighting offensively. I am not sure if you'll be accepted but there is an open invitation to "The Blue Team" on this very forum and it may entertain your style of play. Also i would very much like you to join my federation, Sons Of Light. We are currently fighting the LDI/ Darkside faction, which is comprised of many of the veteran asshats on this thread right now. It's common for them to dictate how you may play. Looking for unwilling victims is frowned upon, but there are definitely places to fight or grow offensively. You can message me in game to discuss a country fed swap. Welcome to simcountry. HAHA :)
