I am Marshal Trumm, representing the Union of National Proletarian States. Our Union is a federation that works for the prosperity of all its members. Let me take a moment to describe what our Union is like, as well as our philosophy.
The Union of National Proletarian States is a peaceful federation. We do not enjoy dealing with outsiders, and we avoid contact with outsiders as much as possible. This mainly includes trade, as well as conflict. Our ultimate goal is to become self-sufficient, getting all of the products we need either from our own corporations, or from each other. We avoid using the international market as much as possible, and instead we trade primarily on our common market.
There are many advantages to self-sufficiency (more than I can think of, just off the top of my head), I am just going to list a few:
-The state of the market has very little effect on our countries. The international market could completely crash, making everyone else suffer while we thrive inside our own little bubble of isolation.
-You will seldom have to worry about your corporations or your country needing supplies.
-The economies of all the countries within our federation are unified, and it acts like one single giant, unified economy, which can be extremely powerful.
So if you are thinking, "Great! What do I need to do to join?", the following is a list of requirements for presidents or countries that wish to join:
-To maintain our state of isolation and peace, we cannot allow an empire to join if it has a war level of 3 or greater.
-You must have a strong and stable economy that is debt-free, although we will take players who have minor financial problems that we can help them fix.
-You will need to be cooperative when we instruct you on how to set up your economy, and get your country on the road to being self-sufficient.
Anyone who meets the above requirements is welcome to join our isolationist utopia of peace and prosperity.
